Asuka, Ryou
Summary
Ryou Asuka serves as the closest companion of Devilman protagonist Akira Fudo. Although the pair grew apart when Akira transferred schools, they are reunited when Ryou reaches out for help to combat the returning demon threat. To improve their odds of victory, Ryou proposes that they undergo a fusion to become Devilmen, possessing human hearts within demonic bodies. While only Akira successfully transforms, the two continue to work together, with Devilman Akira and Ryou joining forces to battle the escalating demon invasion.
