Summary
Kimimaro, born on June 15, was the fifth member of the Sound Four, temporarily expanding the group to the Sound Five. The original four were compelled to accept him due to his combat prowess, which surpassed their combined skills. As the sole survivor of the Kaguya clan, he possessed the unique ability to manipulate his skeletal structure. The Kaguya were annihilated after attacking Kirigakure in a bloodlust-fueled rampage, with Kimimaro being the only one to survive the counterattack. Although some assume his full name is Kimimaro Kaguya, official databooks list only Kimimaro. Orochimaru regarded him as the clan's most powerful member, possessing abilities that even the warlike Kaguya feared, which led to Kimimaro being confined in a cage for most of his life until needed for combat. Like other close followers of Orochimaru, he bore a cursed seal that granted immense power at the cost of his free will. In his Level 2 form, he resembled a dinosaur with dark gray skin, six large bone spines on his back, and a spiked bone tail. He demonstrated exceptional control over the seal, preventing its spread without full activation. This control impressed Jugo, with whom Kimimaro had previously been friends. Karin noted that Kimimaro was the only person capable of stopping Jugo without sustaining injury.
