Hibari Kyouya, born on May 5, is a Japanese student at Namimori Junior High, currently in his third year. Standing at 169 cm and weighing 58 kg, he is the formidable leader of the Disciplinary Committee, a group of delinquents who remain fiercely loyal to him. While Hibari shares their violent nature and uses his position to harass other students, he fundamentally prefers solitude and holds little regard for his subordinates. He is known for enforcing brutal rules, such as threatening to kill anyone who disturbs his sleep, with failure often resulting in death. His signature threat, "I'll bite you to death," is issued before every fight, a phrase that once led Ryohei to hilariously imagine him consuming Gola Moska. He also enjoys saying "wao" and derogatorily labels weak opponents as "herbivores," while enjoying Japanese cuisine and hamburgers. Despite his cruel demeanor, Hibari harbors a deep pride for his school, uniquely enjoying its anthem enough to use it as his ringtone. He demonstrates a peculiar affinity for birds, having adopted and trained an avian follower of the Kokuyo assassin Birds to chirp the school song. This bird, affectionately dubbed "Hibird," remains devoted to Hibari for over nine years into the future.
