Summary
Sunako Nakahara is the protagonist of the series, portrayed as a sixteen- or seventeen-year-old human student. Standing at 174 cm with long black hair and purple eyes, she initially presents as a Gothic loner who finds comfort in horror movies and the dark corners of her room. Her worldview became distorted after a crush cruelly called her ugly, leading her to isolate herself with her collection of horror-themed items, such as an anatomical model she named Hiroshi-kun. Her life changes when her aunt forces her to move in with four incredibly handsome boys, whom she refers to as "Creatures of the Light." Struggling with their beauty, she initially finds it difficult to look at them, but as friendships develop, she comes to appreciate their inner beauty and learns to value her own.
