Summary
Major Jack Barbarossa Bancoran is a British MI6 operative known by the nickname "Bishōnen Killer" due to his uncanny ability to captivate young men with merely a glance. While he attracts women as well, the only female he has displayed any significant interest in is Etrange, the mother of Patalliro. His life took a drastic turn upon meeting Patalliro; after serving as the bodyguard to what he considered the most annoying person he had ever encountered, he ended up cohabiting with Maraich, who had previously attempted to assassinate him, alongside their son, Figaro. Visually, Bancoran is distinguished by his long black hair, his habit of never removing his gloves, not even while sleeping, and his distinctive blue eyeshadow, which appears as purple in the Patalliro Saiyuki adaptation. His character name is derived from Henri Bencolin.
