Summary
Kinon Bachika is the second eldest of Kittan’s younger sisters and serves as the calmest, smartest member of the Black Siblings. Following the capture of Dai-Gunzan by Team Dai-Gurren, she assumes a role in the control tower, where she monitors the radar. After a time skip, she becomes one of Rossiu’s primary supporters. When Simon volunteers to protect the city using Gurren Lagann and is subsequently sentenced to death, Kinon offers to pilot the mecha. She rigs the cockpit with explosives, threatening to detonate them and kill both herself and Simon should he attempt to escape. It is later revealed that her determination to follow Rossiu, despite betraying Simon and ordering his execution, stems not only from her devotion to him but also from her belief that the decision caused him great pain. She firmly believes Rossiu acted out of necessity rather than personal gain, though the validity of this interpretation remains a subject of debate.
