Summary
During her high school days, Ema helped create an anime project for the school festival, leveraging her superior drawing skills compared to her peers. After graduation, she relocated to Tokyo to join Musashino Animation as a key animator. Initially, she accepted only minor tasks she believed had negligible impact on the final product. Over time, however, she began selecting unfamiliar frames to push beyond her comfort zone and broaden her experience. Ema struggles to handle criticism constructively. After receiving feedback from Segawa Misato regarding her dull lines and mediocre keys, she lost her motivation and sense of purpose in animation. She suppressed her emotions until Sugie Shigeru and Iguchi Yumi offered her advice and support.
