Tashigi
Summary
Sergeant Tashigi serves as a Naval officer under Commodore Smoker, making her initial appearance at the rank of Master CPO when the Straw Hat Pirates arrive in Loguetown. Although she possesses notable skill with a blade, she is surprisingly clumsy, once nearly injuring herself with her own weapon. She demonstrates extensive knowledge of the famous katanas from One Piece, including their names and histories. Tashigi wields Shigure, a Wazamono sword. Her primary objective is to strip Meitō, or named swords with prestigious lineages, from the hands of those who wield them for selfish purposes. Following her encounter with Roronoa Zoro, she departed at sea alongside Smoker, pursuing him and the Straw Hat crew. Tashigi shares a striking physical resemblance to Kuina, the childhood friend of Zoro who has since passed away.
