Nikaidou, Harunobu
Summary
Harunobu Nikaidou considers himself Rei's best friend and lifelong rival, a bond forged through years of play dating back to their childhood. A fourth dan ranked Shogi player, he comes from a respectable family. Despite his outward appearance of health, he actually suffers from poor health. The character is modeled after real-life Shogi player Satoshi Murayama.
