Summary
Antonio’s journey began when he encountered Romeo and Alfredo at The Wildcat shop in Locarno. During this time, he was detained alongside Dante and Michaelo. Later, Antonio moved to Milan and took up the profession of a chimney sweep, eventually joining the Black Brothers during his employment there. He had a younger brother named Jusette, who had also worked as a chimney sweep in Milan prior to Antonio’s arrival. Tragically, Jusette was unable to complete his working contract. After enduring a month of near-starvation, he was discovered frozen to death in the snow. In contrast to his brother’s fate, Antonio managed to successfully finish his contract in Milan when spring arrived.
