Summary
Byonko is a sentient frog Mamodo hailing from the Mamodo world. He possesses a highly sensitive nature, becoming easily distressed and constantly fretting over his social interactions, particularly his desire to make friends. In combat, he displays a distinct lack of concern for his opponents, preferring instead to compliment his own impressive abilities. His powers are slime-based, fitting his amphibian characteristics, and primarily involve extending his limbs or launching slime bubbles. Despite his eccentric demeanor, he possesses immense physical strength, having successfully knocked down Demolt. He utilizes several spells, including Gigano Ribbisto, an attack he attempted to use to rescue Penny from Zatch’s Bao Zakeruga but failed to cast because Alvin was absent. His offensive capabilities include Gigaro Nyuruk, which allows his hands and feet to stretch to massive proportions, and Raja Nyurusen, which generates slippery green bubbles to cause enemies to slip and fall, effectively preventing counterattacks. For defense, he employs Giga Nyushield, a slime crown that forms a protective barrier. His most powerful technique, Shin Nyushield, appears in Zatch’s golden spellbook and involves enveloping a spell in a slimy membrane to significantly reinforce its power.
