Summary
Yoshie Manjoume serves as the mother of Fumi. Despite her efforts to integrate herself into her daughter’s life, she finds Fumi to be distant, though she recognizes this behavior as typical for a teenager. Interestingly, Yoshie shares a warmer bond with her niece, Hanashiro Chizu, than she does with her own child. She is also close friends with Okudaira Shouko, the mother of Akira. It is through their rekindled friendship that their daughters, Fumi and Akira, are able to meet again after a decade of separation.
