Summary
Dr. Ichigaki is a demon scientist who betrayed three martial arts students by poisoning their master. He then approached them with a proposal to heal the master in exchange for their participation in his experiments. Consequently, he transformed the students into Makai minions, commonly referred to as M1, M2, M3, or Dr. Ichigaki's minions. Following his team's defeat in the tournament, he unveiled a serum called Instant Gene Therapy. This substance almost instantly enhanced him into a monster form, though he was defeated by Yusuke shortly thereafter. The manga confirms that he survived.
