Tsukune

Summary

Tsukune is an academy student from Konohagakure who made his anime debut in Naruto Shippuuden Episode #494. Along with his fellow classmates Sansho and Mibuna, he is a notorious troublemaker who frequently plays pranks on their instructors. Much like Naruto in his youth, Tsukune engages in these antics to gain acknowledgment, a drive that led him to steal what he believed to be the Scroll of Seals. He appears somewhat airheaded, easily falling for Iruka's taunts and confessing to the vandalism without hesitation. However, through Iruka's guidance, Tsukune develops a desire to become the Hokage and surpass Naruto. The trio of Tsukune, Sansho, and Mibuna once committed acts of vandalism throughout the village. When Iruka caught them in the act, they attempted to disguise their actions as a game of hide-and-seek, but he managed to trick them into confessing. Iruka remarked that Naruto Uzumaki was a far greater delinquent during his student days, a claim Tsukune and his friends initially refused to believe. Upon learning that Naruto had once stolen the Scroll of Seals, Tsukune attempted the same feat. Iruka tracked him down to the Hokage Rock with assistance from Sansho and Mibuna. Recognizing that Tsukune's actions stemmed from a need for attention, Iruka apologized for comparing him to former students. In response, Tsukune promised to try harder in the future.
