Steak
Summary
Steak serves as Niche’s companion and emergency food supply, having followed her after she dismantled the Love Someone Down freak show. He typically perches on her head, remaining stationary even during intense battles with Gaichuu. His keen sense of smell allows him to detect the weak points of Gaichuu, enabling Lag to strike these vulnerabilities with his Shin Ganjuu and eliminate the armored insects. Niche has noted that Steak would be delicious, which explains his name. He appears to have resigned himself to his fate as a future meal, meekly submitting to Niche’s interrupted attempt to cook him. Steak may be the last surviving member of the Kapel Meister, a species once known to coexist peacefully with Spirit Insects and widely believed to be extinct.
