Summary
Mammon is the Indigo Arcobaleno and a member of the elite assassination group, the Varia. He possesses half of the Ring of Mist, which leads to a confrontation with Chrome Dokuro in the gym of Namimori High. Although he nearly defeats her, the situation reverses when Mukuro possesses Chrome’s body, resulting in Mammon’s defeat and the loss of the Ring of Mist to Chrome. It is later stated that he died during the Future arc. Prior to his battle, Reborn and Colonello questioned whether he was truly an Arcobaleno. Mammon then revealed his sealed Pacifier, explaining that unlike his colleagues, he had been actively trying to break the curse through extensive research. This work allowed him to create a chain capable of concealing the powers of both Arcobaleno Pacifiers and the Vongola Rings. He possesses the unique ability to locate individuals by sneezing onto a piece of paper he carries; the resulting mucus forms a map pointing to the target. Like Mukuro, he can generate illusions. His true identity is Viper, and he is accompanied by a black frog named Phantasma that rests on his head. He represents the sin of Greed, reflecting his namesake as the false god of riches and avarice in Biblical literature.
