Summary
Tani is Hikaru’s closest friend from childhood. Although he is initially taken aback by Hikaru’s romance with Rihito, he soon accepts it as a natural fit given Hikaru’s lack of interest in women, and he is genuinely glad that his friend has found love. He plays the bass and enjoys playfully teasing Rihito. Eventually, Tani marries and becomes a father.
