Takanashi, Tarou
Summary
Takanashi Tarou serves as a young production assistant at Musashino Animation. He is Aoi’s kohai by a single month within the production department, yet he is widely regarded as an incompetent and useless employee. Tarou is characterized as a bumbling, airheaded individual who constantly forgets tasks, ignores advice, and maintains an inflated sense of self-importance. Series director Tsutomu Mizushima has stated that the character is a caricature of his younger self.
