Summary
Yumeji Fujiwara is the fifteen-year-old protagonist of Yumekui Merry. Standing at 168 cm tall, he possesses a unique ability gained a decade ago that allows him to perceive the auras of people's dreams, enabling him to predict what kind of dreams they will experience. As a high school student and member of the writing club, Yumeji is characterized by his lazy demeanor, though he is also strong-willed, determined, and possesses a heart of gold, always ready to assist others. He is also a devoted fan of the superhero Guricho. His life changes when he meets Merry, who falls on top of him after he returns from running errands. Together, they enter a daydream, which is a dream that occurs in full daylight. Although Merry is initially unconvinced, Yumeji firmly resolves to help her return to the Dreamworld, and the two soon develop a close friendship.
