Summary
Mariko and Ayumi encounter the Oni-Baku at Yoron Shima in volume 1, where Eikichi views the meeting as an opportunity to ‘get lucky’ and persistently attempts to grope Mariko. Although Eikichi initially seeks revenge after discovering that the two women are not students but actual teachers at their new school, their relationship eventually improves. After Ayumi departs, Mariko continues as an occasional member of the SJG cast, primarily assisting the main pair during difficult situations. She is also the daughter of a Yakuza boss and a former member of Kadena Nao's 'Purple Haze' gang.
