Summary
Known as Rei Q, Ayanami Rei is a character featured in the third and fourth installments of the Rebuild of Evangelion film series. Although she shares a visual resemblance to the Rei Ayanami from earlier entries, she is actually a distinct individual and a clone. This iteration diverges significantly from both the version appearing in the Rebuild of Evangelion movies and the original source material she is adapted from.
