Summary
Miyazawa Miyako and her husband Hiroyuki serve as the parents to Yukino, Tsukino, and Kano. The couple’s romance began in childhood, leading them to marry immediately after high school, a decision that caused significant distress for Miyako’s father. When Hiroyuki first proposed, he was beaten severely by the elder, a former policeman who held a grudge from an incident where Hiroyuki was caught joyriding on Miyako’s new bicycle with friends. Hiroyuki, an orphan raised by his grandfather, deeply values family, a sentiment shared by Miyako, who also lost her mother at a young age. Despite their bond, Hiroyuki continues to bicker with his father-in-law, complaining that the old man cannot let go of his daughter.
