Summary
Maya is an eighteen-year-old employee at Wagnaria who wears glasses. She insists on being a "normal person" and strives to live an entirely ordinary life, both at work and in her personal time. She finds the other staff members awkward and struggles to understand them, which leads her to keep her distance and avoid becoming too familiar with her colleagues. Ironically, her intense effort to appear normal makes her come across as quite strange herself.
