Summary
Hodaka Morishima is a first-year high school student residing on a detached island in Japan. Fed up with his mundane life in his remote hometown, he runs away to Tokyo. There, he struggles with the high cost of living and ends up becoming a NEET, eventually falling into isolation as a hikikomori (引きこもり) and hitting rock bottom. He eventually secures a job as a writer for a dubious, small-scale Monthly Paranormal Occult Editorial. As a journalist, Hodaka is assigned to investigate Japan’s erratic weather patterns. During this investigation, he encounters Hina Amano, a bright and strong-willed girl living in a corner of bustling Tokyo who possesses the ability to manipulate the weather through prayer. Together, they set out to uncover the hidden truths of the world.
