Summary
Alvin was a grumpy old man seeking a peaceful retirement in his isolated cottage nestled within a valley. His solitude was interrupted when he encountered Byonko, who invited him to join a struggle against a king. Alvin declined the offer, much to Byonko's dismay. The encounter took a strange turn when Alvin became fascinated by the four-leaf clover on Byonko's head, mistakenly referring to it as a salad. He plucked one of the leaves, permanently reducing it to a three-leaf clover, which caused Byonko to become even more upset and cry profusely.
