Summary
Arai serves as the Sacrifice Unit for Breathless, standing as the more powerful of the duo. As Ai’s designated sacrifice, he empowers her through his encouraging words and by devising strategies to defeat Soubi. After receiving orders to cease efforts to retrieve Ritsuka, the pair confronts him, warning him against trusting Soubi before being sent back home to complete their schooling. The two share a deep bond and dislike being apart, with their names inscribed on the palms of one of their hands.
