Summary
Nue is an intelligent and caring individual who maintains a fairly serious demeanor, though little is known about his background. He possesses short, spiky lavender hair with one thick lock curving back, dark blue eyes, and wears a large black cape over his regalia. After his Thunder Regalia was heavily damaged in an earlier battle, a quick re-tuning allowed him to arrive just in time to save Kazu and his companions from Gabishi. He was later present to hear Spitfire’s final words and revealed that he and all members of Black Crow are second generation Gravity Children. Although he disagrees with the Takeuchi brothers' methods, he informed Ikki that Black Crow would remain part of Genesis because Takeuchi Sora promised to change the world to enable Gravity Children to live normal lives. As the current Thunder King of the Rising Road, Nue is the only current King whose Road or riding style has received significant characterization, leaving his philosophy as a Storm Rider unrevealed. His Regalia is unique in the AT world as the only full-body model, encasing everything except his neck and head. Nue specializes in manipulating electricity and magnetism, using the wire system built into the Thunder Regalia to create hallucinations or powerful electric attacks, capabilities he retains even without the Regalia's armor. The Regalia is exceptionally heavy, capable of creating a small crater upon impact when he jumps. Nue utilizes several Tricks, including Get Together, which manipulates surrounding electricity to generate a magnetic field that draws metallic objects to the ground. He used this technique to disarm Wind G-Men agents after the Behemoth match and to pin Gabishi down for his Infinity Atmosphere ability. With Atmosphere Max, once a target is entangled by his wires, Nue generates a massive electrical surge from his Regalia that travels through the wires, effectively cooking the enemy; this instantly knocked out Gabishi, a King-level Gravity Child and member of Sleeping Forest. Additionally, Nue employs Illusions by using his Regalia to interfere with an enemy's brain waves, causing them to hallucinate. He utilizes this ability effectively with his team, who strike the foes to make the trick more convincing.
