Summary
Ninny makes her debut in the "Tales from Moominvalley" episode titled "The Invisible Child." Her name is a genuine female given name, often serving as a nickname for Anna. Ninny became invisible after being terrified by her former caregiver. That caregiver eventually gave her to Too-ticky, who brought her to Moominmamma with the hope of restoring her visibility. Moominmamma succeeds by using one of her mother's 'Infallible Household Remedies' combined with plenty of affection. Initially, Ninny is portrayed as dull and unfamiliar with games or fun.
