Summary
Yumi Fukuzawa serves as the protagonist of the Japanese light novel and anime series Maria-sama ga Miteru, created by Oyuki Konno. At the start of the story, she is depicted as exceptionally bashful, timid, and lacking self-confidence. Her initial encounter with Sachiko, the star of Lillian School, involves Sachiko fixing her tie, an event that deeply embarrasses Yumi. Her friend, Tsutako Takeshima, captures a cute photo of this moment and wishes to display it at the school festival, prompting Yumi to seek permission from Sachiko. Other characters frequently note that her emotions are plainly visible on her face. During the second season, Yumi holds the position of Rosa Chinensis en bouton.
