Shizuma, Eikuu
Summary
Shizuma, Eikuu is an immortal swordsman who possesses the same blood-worms as Manji. He aims to recruit Manji as an ally to overthrow Anotsu. According to the Cry of the Worm, the kessen-chu were bestowed upon him by Yaobikuni during the Muromachi period, establishing his age at two hundred years. He wields a poisoned pair of weapons, a dagger and a saber, both named Inoue Shinkai Kosatsu ("Wormkiller"). His narrative debut occurs in the Conquest part 1, where he is named in Cry of the Worm part 1. He meets his end at the hands of Manji in Cry of the Worm part 3. The poison he employs, known as Kessen Satsu, is later utilized in Trickster in a failed attempt to assassinate Manji.
