Summary
Shirakiin Ririchiyo is the central protagonist of the series, living in room #4 of the Ayakashi Kan where she serves as the master of the Miketsukami Soushi. At fifteen years old, she struggles with social anxiety and a lack of proper communication skills, which initially drove her to seek solitude within the boarding house. However, her isolation is broken when she forms friendships with Karuta and Watanuki, both of whom are her classmates and fellow residents. Ririchiyo is notable in anime and manga history for being the first character categorized as a tsunshun rather than a tsundere; this distinction arises because her conceited behavior is followed by depression (shun) rather than modesty (dere).
