Summary
Kai Chisaki serves as a formidable villain and the leader of the Eight Precepts of Death. When his Quirk, Overhaul, manifested during childhood, it brutally attacked his parents, leaving him isolated. He was subsequently adopted by the elderly head of the Shie Hassaikai, cementing a deep-seated hatred for genetic mutations that he blames for his traumatic past. This psychological damage manifests physically as hives whenever he is touched, driving a germaphobic repulsion that extends to his views on Quirks themselves. Chisaki harbors several ambitions: to return humanity to a Quirkless state, to repay the boss who saved him, and to ascend as the head of the criminal underworld. He views Eri, the boss’s granddaughter, and her Rewind ability as the crucial tools needed to achieve these goals. As the conflict with Deku and his allies intensifies, Chisaki deteriorates under pressure, becoming increasingly erratic and violent.
