Summary
At 172 cm tall, Souta is a 16-year-old high school student who joins the staff of the family restaurant Wagnaria after being recruited by Popura. He harbors a strong affection for cute things, which leads him to favor Poplar above his other coworkers due to her adorable appearance. Souta tends to speak his mind openly, a habit that frequently offends his colleagues and results in him being punished by them. While he often finds the restaurant’s rules and his coworkers’ behaviors strange, he remains attached to his job and demonstrates a quick ability to adapt to his duties. His negative attitude toward older women stems from a lifetime of torment by his three older sisters, who gave him hand-me-down clothes that made him look like a little girl during his childhood. He also has a younger sister in elementary school who is nearly as tall as he is. Despite his personal struggles, Souta agrees to cross-dress as a girl named Kotori when Inami requests it to hide her identity from her visiting father.
