Born on February 9, 1987, Pirika is the younger sister of Horohoro, whom she trains using methods similar to those Anna employs with Yoh. Initially, she refers to Yoh as a jerk because he defeated her brother, a situation that causes Yoh distress regarding his reputation. She eventually forms friendships with both Anna and Tamao. The name Pirika translates to pretty in the Ainu language, while pirka means good. Although her spirit partner, Torara, does not appear in the manga or anime, the author has confirmed that he is a Marimo, known as Torasanpe in Ainu. Torara saved Pirika from drowning when she was young, leading to their partnership. He possesses the ability to manipulate water but is extremely shy, which is the reason for his absence from the main series.
