Summary
Misato Yanagihara is a fellow student of Satoru and Kayo, harboring a strong dislike for the latter. She has been on poor terms with Kayo since third grade, when Kayo threw her favorite mechanical pencil out of the window in retaliation for Misato constantly mocking her writing instruments. This animosity led Misato to accuse Kayo of stealing the class's lunch money.
