Summary
Azusa Yumi serves as the Death Scythe responsible for the East Asia region. Although she presents herself as bookish and analytical, she maintains a high level of respect toward everyone she meets. Her sharp wit is evident in her ability to talk Marie out of marrying a toilet through clever wordplay. During her time as a student alongside Stein and other Death Scythes, she held the position of student council president, where she frequently reprimanded Spirit for his constant flirting and Stein’s compulsive urge to dissect everything. Despite being described as a small but talkative child back then, she continues to treat her colleagues like children, often clapping to get their attention and instructing them to form single-file lines, much to their embarrassment. In her current role, she can transform into a crossbow capable of firing high-pressure spirit shots with precision over distances of up to 10 km. She is also implied to possess a genius IQ, proving herself to be an exceptionally skilled information gatherer and tactician by easily locating one of Arachnophobia’s laboratories.
