Summary
Dosu Kinuta is a thirteen-year-old genin hailing from the Sound Village, serving as the leader of his squad. Standing at 156 cm with an A blood type, he operates under the direct supervision of Orochimaru during the chunin exams. His primary weapon is a sound amplifying device on his left arm, known as the melody arm, which intensifies the vibrations from his strikes to damage opponents' hearing and disrupt their balance. He is the sole member of his team to advance to the second stage of the exams, having defeated Choji Akimichi. While initially dedicated to Orochimaru’s mission to eliminate Sasuke Uchiha, Dosu becomes disillusioned upon discovering that Sasuke has been given a cursed seal. Realizing his squad were merely pawns used to test Sasuke’s potential, he abandons his loyalty to Orochimaru and vows to kill Sasuke to undermine his master’s plans. This shift leads him to rashly attempt to take down Gaara before the scheduled match, a decision that ultimately costs him his life.
