Kinemon

Summary

Foxfire Kinemon is a samurai hailing from Wano Country, who was discovered by the Straw Hat Pirates in a dismembered state on Punk Hazard. He strictly adheres to the bushido code, expressing that he would have committed suicide if possible to avoid the disgrace of surviving his severe injuries. Even after being chopped into pieces, he strives to maintain his dignity, displaying great honor by bowing to Sanji, who was disguised as Nami, to thank him for rescuing his torso and acknowledging the debt he owes. Kinemon is an antiquated warrior who holds traditional views on gender roles, expecting women to walk three steps behind men and speak with grace and quietness. He frequently criticizes Nami, labeling her shameless, violent, and obscene due to her rough behavior, and felt deeply humiliated when she struck him. It remains unclear whether these attitudes reflect the traditional customs of Wano Country or are merely his personal expectations. Despite his conservative ideals, he exhibits contradictory behavior, such as enjoying the view of Nami’s cleavage despite complaining about her fashion sense. He also possesses a rather vulgar ability to communicate through flatulence. His primary motivation is finding Momonosuke, whom he believes to be his son. He traveled to the perilous island of Punk Hazard and confronted a Shichibukai in a desperate search. Even after being severed, his detached torso and leg continued to seek their "son," attacking any obstacles in their path. Additionally, Kinemon appears unfamiliar with Devil Fruits, mistakenly referring to them as strange fruits.
