Summary

A first-year student at Shuutoku High, Kazunari Takao serves as the team’s Point Guard and possesses a passing prowess comparable to Kuroko’s, though he lacks her signature invisibility. His defining ability is the "Hawk's Eye," a mental skill that surpasses even Izuki’s "Eagle's Eye" in scope. This gift allows Takao to perceive his entire surroundings without focusing on specific targets, enabling him to see through Kuroko’s misdirection techniques that typically divert attention. The only vulnerability in his "Hawk's Eye" occurs when Kuroko deliberately draws focus to himself, forcing Takao to unconsciously concentrate on him and thereby allowing Kuroko to vanish from view. Outside of basketball, Takao frequently accompanies Midorima, often transporting the latter’s bicycle in a trailer. The two decide who drives by flipping a coin, but Midorima wins every single time.
