Summary
Shiori and Koruru form one of the most influential teams in the tournament, largely because Koruru was the catalyst for Gash’s aspiration to become a benevolent king. Shiori first encountered Koruru on the streets of Mochinoki city and took her in. Upon discovering that Koruru had no family, Shiori insisted she stay and offered to act as her big sister. In doing so, Shiori attempted to play the role of a caring and nurturing mother, compensating for the lack of attention she herself had received from her own family.
