Summary
Chino Kafuu is the thirteen-to-fifteen-year-old granddaughter of the owner of Rabbit House. Born on December 4, she stands at 144cm with AB blood type. Though she is the youngest and shortest member of the group, she possesses a reserved, emotionless demeanor and a flat, monotone voice that uses polite grammar. She rarely smiles, even in happy moments, and acts far more mature and responsible than her age suggests, often serving as the most organized staff member at the café. She takes her duties seriously and becomes irritated by reckless or loud behavior. Chino is initially soft-spoken and often annoyed by Cocoa’s insistence on being called "big sister," yet she gradually develops a strong bond with her, sometimes displaying a sister complex reminiscent of her own. Along with her father, she is one of the only people aware of the secret regarding Tippy and her grandfather. She resents being treated like a child and misses Cocoa when they are apart, feeling envy when Cocoa is with others. As she puts it, she acts like a lion pushing its cub off a cliff, allowing Cocoa to photograph her smiling only after the latter has climbed back up on her own.
