Summary
Doc is a male ripperdoc and medtech who serves as a secondary character in the series. By day, he works as a legitimate surgeon, but he moonlights as an illicit ripperdoc. As an active businessman, he runs various side hustles dealing in braindances, software, drugs, and other black market goods. He is notoriously shameless, hedonistic, and defined by a penchant for opportunism and ruthless negotiations. In the story, Doc exposes David Martinez to braindances featuring extremely graphic levels of sex and violence known as XBDs. Among these is a recently acquired braindance depicting a military veteran murdering several police officers during a cyber psychotic episode.
