Natsume Souseki possesses the ability I Am a Cat, which grants him the power to transform into a calico cat. He is widely regarded as the strongest Ability user, capable of seeing through all manner of things. His true power remained a mystery to everyone until the conclusion of the Cannibalism events, at which point he revealed the nature of his ability to Fukuzawa, Mori, and Katai by reverting to his human form. Professionally, Souseki is a writer and served as the former mentor to both Yukichi Fukuzawa and Ougai Mori.
