Summary
Chiaki is a sixteen-year-old transfer student residing in the apartment complex next to Maron and attending the same class as her and Miyako. He fled his home to pursue a specific personal goal. Similar to Maron, Chiaki possesses an alter ego named Kaitou Sinbad. He wields the ability to seal demons using pins, a power comparable to Jeanne’s, though the manga depicts him utilizing daggers for this purpose. Initially appearing antagonistic toward Maron, his actions are driven by hidden motives, including the fact that he is aware of her secret identity. Portrayed as a womanizer, he frequently attempts to seduce Maron, whose initial disdain for his persistent attempts to protect her gradually shifts. While he initially claimed his closeness was superficial, he eventually reveals his genuine desire to protect her forever.
