Summary
Yutaka Saburoumaru attended Tokyo University and is characterized by his arrogance and tendency to boast about his perceived superiority. He firmly believes he is the ideal candidate for a detective role, a trait that frequently positions him as the series' source of comic relief. After initially joining the DDS and being placed in Class A, he is eventually demoted to Class B in the manga adaptation. His connection to Megumi Minami stems from the Tokyo National Talent Development Research Center, and in one anime episode, he shares a crush on her older sister, Akane, with Kinta. Despite boasting an IQ of 180, he often displays significant ineptitude when it comes to solving mysteries.
