Summary
Azumi first encounters Lion-san during her mother’s funeral. He is the spirit of a passenger aboard a doomed rocket that crashed into their town. The two cross paths again in the spirit world after Azumi drowns and her soul travels to the afterlife, where Mr. Lion reveals his true form. As he shares his unfulfilled dream of reaching space, Azumi adopts traveling to space as her own personal ambition.
