Summary
Youko is a friend of Fumi at Matsuoka Girls' High School. Along with Motegi and Misako, she appears to be a long-time companion, and the three exchange nicknames: Pon-chan, Mogi, and Yassan. Though slightly immature, Youko is likely the boldest and bluntest of the trio. She is unrelenting and dedicated to her convictions, persistently trying to persuade Fumi to join the Drama Club even after repeated rejections. Despite being loud and outspoken, she is skilled at striking up conversations and getting to know others. It was largely due to her efforts that Fumi became friends with the group. As Pon-chan, she often seems hapless and complains that things never go her way.
