Summary
Lili Ichijouin is a twenty-year-old aspiring painter hailing from Yokohama, Japan. During her youth, the works of Turner deeply inspired her, sparking a lifelong dream of traveling to England. Although her mother prefers that she marry and take over the family's kimono boutique, she grants Lili permission to enroll at Saint Thomas Art Academy in England on one condition: Lili must become the school's top student within six months. To achieve this goal, Lili establishes a rivalry with Kit, the current number one student. Over time, this competitive dynamic evolves into a genuine friendship, eventually leading Lili to develop a crush on him.
