Summary
Gin is a forest spirit characterized by a naive demeanor, a trait stemming from his limited social interactions with only other spirits and Hotaru. His connection with Hotaru began when he encountered her as a young child who had become lost in the woods. After guiding her to safety, Hotaru promised to return with a gift, and the two formed a close bond that led them to meet annually every summer.
