Summary
Herbert served as a grand duke and was the third son of Friedrich III. He commanded the Imperial fleet during its initial confrontation with the Free Planets Alliance at the Dagon Starzone in 640 UC. Despite leading a force that was significantly larger than its opponent, his fleet suffered a decisive defeat against an Alliance armada that was only half its size.
